wishlist update
semi-monthly wishlist update. yeah yeah, i'm a little late to the party with some of these. i haven't been paying much attention to music lately. how can i catch up? what do folks read to keep up to date with new music? my only source is the Aquarius Records newsletter.

Wow! I didn't realize the Stars had a third album out. I really enjoyed their first two.
Cosmic Game by Thievery Corp. is pretty decent. I don't like it as much as some of thier earlier stuff - but it's hard to go wrong with them. Let me know if you want to borrow it before purchasing, Brian - I'd be happy to loan it out.
My sources for keeping up with music aren't great. I quiz friends and music store employees, listen to KALX for good tunes, Pick up the Amoeba mailer and subscribe to Mod Lang's weekly e-list. I enjoy most genres, so it's not hard to find something new that I'll like.

a good way to keep up is to listen to community radio. oliver and i listen to KCRW a lot, it's in the itunes radio stations list. they break a lot of new bands and play a lot of good stuff.
