thanks for all the fish
after a year and a half with them, my company - Covalent Technologies - is "selling both lines of business and reducing the workforce". reducing to 0, that is. i'm out on the street again, so to speak, abruptly considering the question of what to do with myself. leaning towards trying to support myself as an independent software consultant until late autumn and then taking some time off to travel: Australia, NZ, maybe some Europe. seems almost like a gift in a way, if you don't think about the not earning wages part.
