I'm restless. Haven't spent much time with people lately. Was sick for a week and a half and got into the habit of sitting by myself at home not speaking. Now I can't break out of the rut. Everyone else is either out having a busy life with no inclination to drag me along or is just as boring as I am. Brunch with friends today was the single lovely exception.

Been fantasizing lately about a change of pace. If I wan't shackled down by the commitment I made to my current employer, I'd be inclined to get on a plane and go somewhere else for a while. Penny keeps putting up photos of herself in random European locations. Apparently she is on some kind of Grand Tour. I am jealous.

Anyway, I think some shorter trips are in order. New York for Halloween perhaps, if I can get it together. What should be my costume? Feeling inspired after watching Idiocracy tonight - shouldn't be too hard pull off "future moron".
