Have been reading my new cookbook every chance I get. Many of you old salts may be amused at how much fun I'm having, but it's really nice to find a new hobby. I shelled fucking peas and fava beans tonight for half an hour while watching some tv show about how hot dogs are made.

Watched the pilot of Californication tonight.
